“Mr. Flemming and his crew had their hands full with this rental property I owned that I was preparing to sell. However, every hurdle was met with professionalism, personal contact to discuss options, and timely completion of each step, all while dodging Tallahassee late summer weather.

Thanks to the hard work and efforts of Southeast Construction, my property looked amazing and I knew that quality work had been done. I sold the place in less than six weeks and the buyer even made note of updates done, and how quickly the repairs were made that were noted in his home inspection.

“We contracted to purchase a mid-century modern home and were very concerned with the age and condition of the 1950 home. Michael was referred to us by our realtor. Before we hired Michael he spent an inordinate amount of time schooling us on the process and what he would provide. Michael's attention to detail was stunning and his knowledge base was incredibly helpful. We have bought and sold several homes and never had an inspector spend as much time, nor answer our vast supply of questions. He promised and delivered to provide us with enough information that we would be able to make an intelligent and wise decision as to whether or not we should purchase the home. “I am very pleased with the job Southeast Construction did replacing my [16 foot tall] front porch columns. My house is brick and just this past spring I had my windows replaced with vinyl ones so I wanted something that was maintenance free and asked Michael Flemming to check and see if he could get some Aluminum Columns.

He was very accommodating and got me just what I wanted. The installation went very smooth. The workmen were very nice and everything was cleaned up and left in good order.

Communication was great and it certainly is refreshing to be able to call a place of business and talk to a real person and not get a recording.

“Finding an honest, reputable, and Licensed Contractor to make necessary repairs to a home can be a nightmare waiting to happen. When you are not in your own home territory, the choice is even more difficult. My sister and I arrived in Tallahassee to fix up my mother’s home so we could put it on the market. It had been a rental for three years and we thought we just needed to make some cosmetic updating to the house. However, upon closer inspection, there were some major repairs and damages to address. We needed a Licensed Contractor, with integrity and resources, who could jump right in and work with us out-of-towners.
    We were fortunate that Southeast Construction was working next door when we came to Tallahassee. We were able to see the crew at work, and talk to them about what they were doing. We talked to our neighbor and he had nothing but good to say about Southeast. We made an appointment with Michael Flemming, and the process began. He was prompt, thorough, and communicated well. He had a team of other professionals ready to do quality work for us. They coordinated well and did the work in a timely manner. It was the right choice.
   Yes, Michael Flemming is a Licensed Contractor. But he brings much more to the table. His experience includes a good background in the laws of Florida, which are considerably different than we were used to. He understands and provides the appropriate documentation for the work that is done. Like so many building projects there were surprises, and he handled them with flexibility and professionalism.

For a more than a year, I have contracted Southeast Construction, specifically Mr. Michael Flemming’s services, to assist me in the care and maintenance of heir property located in Tallahassee, Florida.   As a current resident of the state of Maryland, I was initially reluctant and extremely anxious about soliciting a “distant” contractor to assist me in the much needed repair and maintenance of a badly deteriorated, seventy year old homestead.  After visiting Tallahassee and witnessing the condition of my property, it was fortuitous that I contacted and solicited the support of Southeast Construction.  Within a matter of hours, Mr. Flemming arranged to meet with me “on-site” in order to conduct a preliminary survey of my property and to propose a strategy for assessing the extent of repair and restorative construction requirements.
